What we collect
- Order details you give us at checkout: name, email, phone (optional), shipping and billing address, and the items you buy. Checkout and payments are handled by Shopify; we never see or store your full card details.
- Browsing information from our website, such as pages viewed, items added to your cart, device and browser type and IP address, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Anything you send us, such as support emails or reviews.
How we use it
- to process, ship and deliver your order and send order updates
- to provide customer support
- to prevent fraud and keep the store secure
- to measure and improve our advertising, and to show you relevant ads on other platforms (only with your consent where required)
Advertising and analytics partners
If you accept analytics and advertising cookies, our website loads the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), and may also load the TikTok Pixel and Google Analytics. These tools record actions such as viewing the product, adding it to your cart and starting checkout, so we can see which ads work and show ads to people likely to be interested.
When you place an order, Shopify shares purchase information with Meta, including through Meta's Conversions API. This may include your order value and products, and contact details such as your email address and phone number in a hashed (scrambled) form, so Meta can match the purchase to an ad. Meta, TikTok and Google use this information according to their own privacy policies: Meta, TikTok and Google.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Your choices
- Cookies: analytics and advertising cookies are off until you accept them. You can change your choice anytime with the Cookie settings link in the footer.
- Targeted advertising: you can opt out of data sharing for targeted advertising through Shopify at shop.getglownest.com/pages/data-sharing-opt-out. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal.
- Ad settings on the platforms: you can manage the ads you see in your Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Google settings.
- Marketing emails: unsubscribe anytime using the link in the email.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to object to or opt out of certain uses. Email support@getglownest.com and we'll respond within the time required by law. If you're in the EU, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
How long we keep it
We keep order information as long as needed to fulfill your order, handle warranty claims and meet accounting and tax obligations. Browsing data from advertising tools is kept according to each partner's own retention rules.
